Hola!

A Little About Me

With over 15 years of experience supporting children, families, and school communities, I’ve built my career around helping parents navigate educational decisions with clarity and confidence. My work in New York City exposed me to a wide range of school environments—including public, charter, independent, progressive, and multilingual programs—which gave me a deep understanding of admissions processes, school culture, and how to determine the right fit for each child.

Before relocating to Spain, I spent many years working as a high-profile nanny and household manager in both New York City and Los Angeles. In these roles, I collaborated closely with teachers, learning specialists, therapists, and school administrators to ensure children received consistent academic, social, and emotional support. I regularly coordinated with other professionals to coordinate learning plans and implement specialist recommendations at home, and helped families navigate everything from enrichment programs to behavioral strategies. This experience taught me how school systems function on a practical, day-to-day level—and how to advocate effectively for a child’s needs.

My background also includes coordinating youth programs in the nonprofit sector and completing an internship at a public daycare in Granada, giving me a grounded understanding of early childhood development and diverse educational settings.

Now based in Málaga, I’ve personally navigated the Spanish admissions and enrollment process with my own child, which allows me to understand the challenges international families face—new terminology, paperwork, catchment zones, timelines, and shifting expectations.

At Españaula, I provide personalized, hands-on guidance to make your transition into a new school system smooth. Whether you’re clarifying your school options, preparing documentation, understanding enrollment priorities, or advocating for your child, you can rely on expert support that saves time, reduces stress, and helps you make confident, informed decisions about your child’s education.
